Probably the best headlight wiring video out there

Great video shows from start to end unlike some other videos. Showed the specific wires to connect to, I just did my 2013 ford today and it works.

Thanks for the instructions! I'd never done any wiring work before installing my headlights, but this video was a huge help and I got it done easily!

wish my car was that easy. i have to remove the front bumper then there are brackets under the headlights that are almost impossible to get to. 4 bolts on them more push pin clips then remove install and replace.

I just completed the installation, went great, thanks for the video! I did solder, heat shrink and then tape all connections. One question though...one of the small LED lights does not work. How can I get a hold of one of the lights to replace it? Are they standard and can I just go to a auto parts store, etc.? Thanks!

Are the halos or any other type of light bar always connected to parking lights so they only come on when the parking lights are manually turned on or do they ever get wired to a constant source so they come on as soon as you start the car without having to turn on parking lights?

Is this the same set up for the headlights from my car. I have a 2004 mercedes e500 and the harness for my headlights are 4 pin plugs. The headlights that ordered have a 5 pin plug and won't fit with the harness from my car. Any suggestions

My lights (same as shown in video) came with a set of "Warning Canceller" capacitors. Where do those go?

/edit I have a 2011 F150 that came with stock halogens.

I just bought some Spyder CCFL headlights for my 2006 F150 and I just wanted to know how much would it cost to have a shop wire and install my headlights?

What happens if you wire them wrong for example the red wire with black wire instead of white will it mess up?

That is a pretty poor wire job I mean the wires should be environmentally sealed so soldered and heat shrink wrapped with tape will just fail over time. A shop will probably charge you $60 to $80 an hour for 2 hours.

I cringed at the wiring job. I don't care if God almighty says it's ok, never ever use wire taps, they WILL fail, or electrical tape to secure your connections. Always solder and heat shrink .
