OBS Starting The Output Failed Error [FIXED]

Updated solution : Update OBS to newer version, open settings > Output tab > Output Mode: Advanced > Encoder: NVENC H.264 and save the settings.

This is not a "fix" this is just ignoring the issue at hand by changing to a completely different encoder which is not at all the same thing.

Thank you for the help! The situation only appeared today out of all the times I recorded where the NVENC was apparently not supported but when I used this method, it surprisingly worked with the simple changes!

The real fix is going into windows settings and changing OBS to the specific gpu you are using to record instead of letting "windows decide" and switch over to simple mode in recording then choose encoder go back to advance and use same settings☝🏿

I don’t have an encoder section for recording and for the first one it was on software 264 and it still didn’t work
