Personally, I think nightwish, at least the band in its original style, needs a soprano, or at least who can sing similarly. Without a matching vocal, the band looses the feeling, or someone may call it the "soul". Nightwish transferred so much in the Olzon period. When Jansen came, the original feels comes back a little, because Jansen can sing like a soprano. Of course, a band can change its style. Someone will like it while other people don't. I can see Jansen here has developed her own style with the band. Personally, I like the original feeling.
