I'm glad you're playing left-handed; it means I can mirror what you're doing if I'm playing right-handed!

¡Hola! Este tutorial sobre pandeiro es increíblemente útil y divertido al mismo tiempo. Los pasos están claramente explicados y la enseñanza es muy detallada. Me encantó cómo se puede tocar diferentes ritmos con este instrumento. ¡Gran trabajo!

I have a big one, I think its 12" that I bought when I was in Rio...its so heavy though, I find myself just having an issue holding it up. Are they supposed to be this big? I wanted a nice big one so it gets a nice loud sound but had no idea I was going to have fatigue after just a few minutes of playing.

Its actually hard to dampen and undampen quickly as well. Is this just how it is or are th ere different techniques you can use with bigger ones? I can almost never hold it flat while I play, I have to have it at 45degree angle or almost completely vertical which doesnt look so good or feel good, then again im new to this drum so maybe I havent build strength?

! Great lesson. I played the surdo but really want to play the pandeiro! Where and what do you recommend to find a perfect pandeiro? Thanks!

Great intro to pandeiro. I’d love to collaborate on pandeiro/Brazilian percussion videos, if that’s of interest 🙏🏽
