Amazing review as always! Recently broke my nose during Muay Thai sparring. I know that the best solution for defense is to improve head movement but cannot afford to be out from training and work for another 2-3 weeks. What would you recommend for a face saver headgear under $200?

Hey Simon, I recently have seen one of these for a lot cheaper on ebay second hand but after measuring my head on the phenom size guide, the one I've seen is an XL so slightly sized up from what I'd need, do you reckon I could tighten the buckle strap and laces enough to compensate? It's a very good deal is the reason I'm asking 😂 great video as always loving the reviews 🥊🥊🥊

I contacted the manufacturer regarding the protection. They couldn’t mention anything about concussion reduction. They don’t have numbers. The foam they use might not reduce concussions or absorb impacts protecting your brain. From the head guards you have reviewed do you know any which really reduce the impacts?

Thanks for you amazing review bro you helped me so much with gloves and shoes ! Now it's Headgear time lol and I dont know wich one to buy between this one and the no bare version ( I have pretty long and big nose lol ) but I'm scared to lose too much vision and can't put my gloves close to my face ( peek a boo style ). I would like to know what choice you would have made ? Sorry for the broken english and keep the good work <3

I wore this head guard sparring and I still got a bruised nose. I got hit by jabs that came through. Am I doing something wrong with the head guard?
