More popular than Chrysler’s famed Hemi, and almost as feared, the Super Commando V8 was designed to be Plymouth’s best combination of comfort, streetability and performance. That performance is funneled through an original A727 3-speed, which spins a requisite 8.75-inch axle. That axle pushes a fully restored suspension that’s spec-ed with factory power steering and power front disc and rear drum brakes.
