I always believed in this man’s innocence from when I watched his interrogation and how genuinely shocked he was that they were accusing him of harming his wife. Then his attorney was so unbelievably incompetent. He certainly was no advocate for his client.

The medical examiner was shining bright with BIAS, along with her lack of self awareness. 😂😂😂

I watched this trial the first time and this guy's attorney was the worst I've ever seen. Totally useless. If there is such a thing as ineffective counsel, this guy had it.

Damn Todd gettin' yoked in jail lifting those weights haha

I saw the trial - this guy had the worst attorney, judges and prosecutor was grossly inappropriate. He was bamboozled and I believe he is innocent! Now he not only lost his wife but his farm and time. I pray he is set free.

I watched this original trial and was surprised he was found guilty. I don't know if he did this or not but imo the medical examiner is sub par. I've watched trials for 3 decades & never have I heard that a ME does 3 autopsies at ONE TIME.

So the dr listened and reviewed ALL the states records & police reports… BUT she couldn’t be bothered to listen to the people/son that found her 🙄🙄🙄 WOW, there’s bias right there 🤬

Heartbreaking seeing his children cry in the front row. I watched the 1st trial and he lost his appeals bc his atty never objected to anything. His atty should have moved for a mistrial when that prosecutor put her spin on the 911 call. Hope he wins this PCR.

I love this defense lawyer by the way.

This forensic pathologist left the death certificate as pending until she talked more with the investigators! Why? She wanted to wait to see if they wanted to pursue charges. The lawyer should have pressed her further on that

In the original trial, everyone agreed it was homicide, the only question was who killed her. Neither side seriously entertained the idea of an accident.

It’s definitely worth the watch, but for those who don’t have time for the whole thing, I’d recommend at least watching opening statements, the ME, and Todd’s testimony.

IMO, the guilty verdict was based on the severity and number of injuries, the internet searches, the security cameras being turned that morning, and Todd’s own inconsistent and evasive testimony.

It’s not just one thing; it’s a preponderance of evidence and I really can’t see him getting a new trial.

This defense attorney is infuriating. You are not going to get that doctor to change her mind on her manner of death. 😡

Um, teach lawyers to NOT to say 'um' and 'uh'.

The vocal fry on that last blonde is too much for me.

I don’t like the prosecutor crossing the emt. Too hostile. Again if the state is so confident in its case why the snarky questioning. And he’s sooo concerned about minuscule hearsay. It’s like they know there’s some shady stuff going on

Her being impaled TWICE, is NOT possible if it was by accident 🤦‍♀️

I watched this trial. I knew nothing about it. I was shocked that Todd was found guilty. There was no evidence to prove his guilt; it was pure speculation.

Why does Todd look like the healthiest person in that courtroom? He's all tan and muscular and honestly looks like he's aged in reverse.

This defense atty is giving me a headache. Her questioning is word salad. Asking the same thing multiple times, in multiple ways.
