Accessibility at CES 2023

We made it back to #CES in Las Vegas!! This was our second time attending the conference. Our goal was to find as many adaptive products as possible that empower people with disabilities around the world to gain more independence. This year we found A LOT of adaptive products!!

We already noticed a huge growth in accessibility at the conference compared to the last time we were here in 2020. It's amazing to see companies from around the globe cultivating these revolutionary adaptive products! We also love how eager companies are to adapt their products to be more accessible for people with disabilities.

We had the opportunity to speak with Gary Shapiro President and CEO of @ConsumerTechnologyAssociation (which hosts CES each year) and Stephen Ewell the Executive Director of the CTA Foundation. You don't want to miss this conversation!

We all agreed that it's refreshing seeing more and more companies creating products with accessibility at the forefront of the design process and not an afterthought.

By chance, did you check out GoodMaps Explore? They were the indoor accessible navigation company they mentioned when they were talking about the pitch competition. They are an awesome group of people working on some amazing tech. I believe they even mapped the conference hall so people could use Explore to navigate the conference.
