GFI S 10 SM 3x2 Pedal Steel Guitar Demo

Demo of the GFI S-10 SM 3x2 student model pedal steel guitar. This is a great beginner to intermediate level instrument and would be a great practice pedal steel for the professional level to have on hand. It is an Emmons pedal and knee lever set up. I am using an MXR Echoplex , Hilton Volume Pedal, Peterson Stobostomp HD Tuner, and a Mesa Boogie Lonestar Amp.

Yes, the folks at GFI go up and beyond making these steel guitars. My friend Pro steel player Terry Wood makes these steel guitars in the factory. Terry has been playing pedal steel for over 40 years and says the GFI 's are the best ! Julian Tharpe was Terry's mentor/teacher back in the early days. Today, Terry still plays his 12 string at events all over Missouri & Kansas when he is not in the GFI factory making these great pedal steel guitars. Terry has another GFI on order and the waiting list gets bigger everyday.

I too just ordered a GFI 3x4 SM. Was wondering what amp you are using in the video. All I have right now is a Fender GT-100. It will be about 6 months before I get my GFI. Your GFI sounds great. Thanks for the video.

Just put an order in for a 3x4. At 6’ feet, do you think “ standard leg height is good enough w the volume pedal? or should I go up an inch? Thnx
