About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

Not only did George have $5K to his it was actually a "spare" $5K he could afford to invest. The last time in the series he had any money.

The George character is even better when you realize he was somewhat of a successful real estate agent with money to spare in season 1

You cut out the best parts:
The moment George hoplessly throws himself on the couch.
And Jerry's monologue: "I'm not an investor. People always tell me, you should have your money working for you. I've decided I'll do the work. I'm gonna let the money relax."

the quality of these clips is amazing! I love that they're in the original broadcast aspect ratio and not awkwardly forced into widescreen like some of the DVD releases

Watching George smoke cigar in restaurant and I’m shocked, but then I remembered you could do that back then!

I love the part at the beginning of this episode where Jerry and George are talking about Superman having a sense of humor or not.

3:21 I love those long, drawn out dinners with friends on Fridays or Saturdays.

Everyone is still chatting and enjoying the company, some are still nibbling, some are enjoying their buzz.

Then after you pay the bill, you have the option of moving the party to a bar/lounge, or taking it back to someone’s place, or just calling it a night and heading home because that long dinner was enough.

You can really see how George initially tried to play a Woody Allen type character.

Funny thing is George is suppose to owe a lot of taxes on those return gains since he sold immediately after.
