Latex needs Memory foam
With it. Latex by itself is Supportive, Relaxing. BUT the deeper you sink into it, it will “resist” you, it is Firm. Memory foam balances things out getting the pressure off.

I need firmness and comfort. The best mattress I've tested n had has been a ikea HR polyurethane foam  morgedal. 8 inch mattress... all these upsell and its really simple.

I have a pu foam mattress I have had it for years. And unlike this video mine is a firm foam unlike the soft foam used.

One bit of info that nobody mentions, HR Polyurethane foam with an ILD of 50 is what many people with back issues need, something VERY firm. And latex cannot provide that level of firmness.

the memory foam layer is the toplayer of a mattress, there is always a support layer underneath it...there are no matresses that are made only of memeory foam.... good info but not totally true.
