This is probably one of the coolest boss battles ever.

Protip: put a mirror behind you if one of the bosses throws a lefty flip at you. You can then turn around ban just look at the screen through the mirror.

1:22 Take note of Lou's section here. Anyone else notice that the expert guitar track for "Hot for Teacher" uses notes placed that close together? Maybe Lou was a fan of Eddie Van Halen.

Once you get your first power-up, don't use it right away. His next solo he doesn't acquire anything and neither do you. Use it on his following solo where he WOULD pick up a power-up, like this guy did in this vid.

My friend said he could barely beat Lou on Medium. When I told him I could beat Lou on Expert he asked how, and I told him, "If you get the 'Whammy" power-up, save it until he has a long string of notes, then hit him with it. No one can survive something like that when they can't even play their notes." He then asked, "How did you figure that out?" To which I replied, "Much practice." I also told him that the power-up I'm most vulnerable to is "Lefty-Flip" as I'm right-handed.
