I love the adaptive cruise control - the lane centering is fun but FAR less consistent

I like the adaptive cruise feature however there’s a few improvements that could be made. The first is once traffic starts to get back to speed, rather than mashing the throttle to get back up to set speed, a more economical, light foot on the pedal, would be welcomed. Second suggestion is when following at say 65 mph on the freeway and the ACC kicks in because of a slower vehicle, it would be nice to get some type of warning when your speed drops significantly below the set speed. There are times when I’ll look down and see that I’ve been following a car at 50 or 55 when I could have changed lanes to get back up to freeway speed of 65.

It is very good tool, I am driving a Subaru Forester 2023 have paddle shift, drive fast and rally with Subaru are safe because Eyesights work all the time, also I feel confident with symmetrical Awd. It’s my first car, and I feel very lucky when choose this brand, let’s see how the car would please me in the future.

Really - adaptive cruise control is AMAZEBALLS! I recently spent 5 days with a rented car traveling long highway distances - and I missed adaptive cruise-control so bad!

ACC is perfect, lane centering is only used when really needed as it's jerky and inconsistent.

Hey Subaru! When will you post Transfagarasan time attack full run? Isle of man is here why not Transfagarasan too?

If you’re not using cruise control, does the Subaru still slow/stop for accident avoidance?

I love adaptive cruise control. QUESTION: if you adjust the following distance, does it stay at that setting permanently or does it always begin at the default setting? Incidently, I use mine in stop and go traffic all the time and it works great!

Neat, a feature seen in many cars. What has Subaru done to innovate in this space?

Well I will definitely be using in July for our family reunion. Now all I need is for the Gas Tax Holiday to kick in. I will feel a whole lot safer on the road and a whole lot happier keeping some dollar bills, dollar, dollar bills in my pocket.😆

I really enjoy Eyesight, especially the lane centering and active cruise control. It works well, especially useful for me in the Forester on a windy day.
It's not perfect, but it is good.

Also, Ascent is my favourite looking Subaru. It's simple. Iike it. I wished Forester looked similar as it's too busu in the front end :)
... but please keep whe square back. It's amazing.

I drive twice a year Boston to Boca, and wouldn't do it without ACC. Lane centering, on the other hand, is a waste. It swings from side to side, and if you take your hands off the wheel you get a slap on the side of your head. What's the point?

Not a fan of adaptive cruise control (ADC) in my forester. I do not need my car very subtlety slowing down as ADC matches the speed of the vehicle ahead of me so it constantly keeps me checking my speed which defeats the purpose of cruise control. Fortunately Subaru does allow the driver to switch to conventional cruise control, I just wish it would save my choice instead of always defaulting to ADC. The pre-collision system is always on but I do not use ADC on a regular basis.

"it (ADC) even works in stop and go traffic." says the narrator as a view of a Subaru stopped for a red light is shown. NOT! Stepping on the brake to stop at a red light immediately cancels the cruise control. And I'm sorry but there's no way in hell I'm not putting the brakes on if a car is stopped or stopping in front of me! C'mon man!

I just hate how y’all say the new Legacy averages 30mpg, but in reality, it only averages 26-27mpg combined. Gna sue y’all
