Tall & Nice Dover Impulse Hydraulic Elevators - Park Plaza, Bldg. 2 - Pleasanton, CA

[Recorded 9-3-21] Here is the second building in this office park. This building is a bit bigger and has two elevators instead of one. These both have really nice motors, some of the best I've heard on an Impulse. I really like the marble walls around the elevators in the lobby...it makes the building look a lot older than it really is. These are both really tall and despite being the exact same size, they have different capacities. I wonder if one was accidentally put on there if the right car can actually carry 100 more pounds than the left car. Cool!

Dang those motors sound good! Just goes to show how good Dover elevators were in their prime. Interesting that they replaced the chime on the left one.
