After over a year and 4 months I still can not find anything wrong and the guitar just keeps sounding better each time it's played.

If you would like to donate to the channel you can use this link, and I appreciate any donations. All donations will go for channel upgrades and items for review.
And thank you to those of you who have donated already. 1. Reventech 2. Scott Quellette and 3. Bob Blue. Thank you so much, all of you.

Randy's Rhythm is a new channel that is awesome for learning finger style and I can highly recommend him. Here is the link to his YouTube channel:

I was sanding the braces to smooth them out, like more high end guitars, and noticed that these guitars aren't non-scalloped braces.

They have scalloped bracing in them, just like the bracing in the Martin HD -28.

I just got in my lighted mirror and confirm that this morning. The bracing on the inside of my guitar is identical to the bracing on the inside of a Martin HD-28.

That explains why this guitar is so loud and resonant. Just wanted to let you all know and I will pin this post.

Thank you for this review for more than one year out of having the guitar. Enjoyed them on both this channel and your other one. I got one of these for my daughter. It is a guitar that can last her a lifetime of playing. Please also give Noah my compliments on his playing. Take care and keep up the good work.👍

Great review, as always! And naughty recording king, you were very influential in me deciding to purchase my recording king! But anyways nevermind, very enjoyable review! Thanks for uploading!

I may have to take this video down because someone is complaining about copyright issues. If I do, I will upload it again with all new guitar playing and songs. I will have to stick to songs I wrote and Noah wrote though. Isn't it funny how someone is concerned about a channel as small as mine.. And Noah and especially me, are not pro guitarists.
They have to get every single penny owed them. So if the video is gone, that's why. YouTube will take it down and give my channel a strike.

Hey Man, great review and playing. I’ve had a couple of Recording Kings over the years, and always found them to be good quality.

Well, one more thing happened to my guitar this past week. The pic-guard pulled up, drastically, on the corner and I just removed it to keep from snagging on anything. I don't like pic-guards to begin with so I'm not disappointed it happened but I thought I should mention it to you all. As I said before, I will tell you all everything that goes wrong with this guitar. That way you can get an idea of how is going to last for you.

Ok so if I remember correctly Recording King used to sell a top notch case which was a RK badged: "Guardian CG-044-D Vintage Hardshell Case, Dreadnought". Those are on backorder everywhere as they are a rare 7 ply case. Most cases are 4-5 ply.
An available alternative 7 ply case is: *"Crossrock CRW600DBR Dreadnought Guitar Case, Multi-layer Wood Case, Arch-top Style, Vintage Brown"--good supply everywhere.
It has the double headstock/neck supports and great reviews.
The Guardian 44 may still be available but without the Recording King badge on about page 2 or 3 of the Google results
Hope that helps
Cheers!
* The better cases are "archtop style" as opposed to "flat top" cases. Much more protection. Doesn't refer to archtop guitars

That does sound good, I believe I've had my rd 328 over a year and it does sound better and better over time. The only thing I see different between ours is your fretboard is way darker! I wish mine looked like that!

It would be very cool if you compared it with the Alvarez md60bg!!! Maby talking about witch one you like more, the sound ect.. With sound sample with that great mic you have.
I been trying to get JP to do it but he never did.
Edit: I just watch your first video on the Alvarez and i just realised that you do talk about witch one you like more ect..Anyway, would still be cool to hear them side by side. I know that it hasent been done on youtube.

Hi David, excellent review brother man and great to see you strumming 👍🏻. Noah is really doing well with his playing and he just keeps impressing me every time I hear him play. Just a great review on what appears to be a diamond in the rough! 30 year old, natural Adirondack?? At some point that stock will run out.

Open gear Grover's are made in the same factory as the ping tuners that are already on. Don't replace them . They'll literally be the same just Grover engraver. I have the mahogany dreadnought. RD318. Same tuners on mine.

Hayes Tech, I asked this on another of your videos, but I'll ask here too: Which do you prefer, and which do you think sounds more like a Martin, your Recording King, or your Alvarez?

Ive had mine 2 years for 750 and ill put it up against a martin, title for title. Ive done 4 blind test and martins and gibson lost. Its such a great guitar, not to mention the look it has, the wood is beautiful.

Very nice guitar! Glad to see it being made. I wonder what you felt about the Alvarez bluegrass dread?

How hard was it for you to get used to that deep "V" neck profile? I picked up a similar model ... and put it down immediately. That "V" just felt really uncomfortable for my small(ish) hands. Maybe I could get used to one ... but maybe (probably) not.
