Really wish this anime was known by more people. This is such a cute little romance anime and it oddly relaxes me. The opening along with the beautiful artwork and storyline really put me at ease. Truly a great anime to watch when I'm stressed from school or when I'm just looking for a short series to re-watch to keep me busy.

this is a very rare anime to find! no blood or inappropriate scenes or anything like that so i LOVE this anime and i bet my mom will love it too so i'm really happy thank you so much for whoever made this anime please make more just like this because it's perfect it has sad scenes happy ones and fighting ones and my fav, romantic scenes (obviously) but i just like can't thank you enough so please make more wuv u :D

This is my favorite anime in the shojo genre. All the characters are built so well, and it feels real. The plot is not at all rushed, and you see a healthy development of relationships between all the characters. Shirayuki and Zen completely respect each other. Obi, even though he likes Shirayuki, knows where his loyalties lie. Shirayuki has a well rounded character and ability set, and she knows where her weaknesses lie and constantly betters herself, which influences the people around her to better themselves too. Everything the characters do is justified by their personality. Shirayuki is my favourite character, and I absolutely love how independent she is. She isn’t weak- I’ve seen so many shojo animes where the main girl has no talents except charisma I guess and needs to be protected by the male lead all the time (*cough**cough* Kotoko from Itazura na kiss*cough*). Shirayuki can take care of herself. In sticky situations, she logically thinks through where she is and finds a solution. She isn’t someone who doesn’t accept help either- if she needs it, she’ll ask, but she knows what she can do and does it. Now Zen- I think his character is just *chef’s kiss*. Most shojo anime portray the main guy as a cold stoic asshole or a popular playboy asshole. Zen in comparison is the epitome of a fairytale prince. He’s kind and responsible, he respects the people around him and cares for his subjects. He loves Shirayuki but he gives her her space and lets her grow as a person as she pleases. He never forces upon her anything she doesn’t want. And he knows his royal duty. Both Zen and Shirayuki are busy doing their own jobs in and out of the castle, so all their interactions are so precious. I will never shut up about how good this anime is so y’all need to WAKE TF UP and watch this masterpiece (also S3 please, thank you)

To be honest I’m not a hardcore romance anime fan, but I swear this series made me wanna have the two love interest fall in love with each other. The characters are memorable, the story line is simple yet executed perfectly. There’s a lot of cute moments between the two, it focuses on the actual relationship. In the second part of the story your heart will be aching to see them with each other again, I cried ngl. Give it a watch!!!

No high pitch highschool girls tsunderes kicking your balls, no yandere killing those around . Just a fun cast of appealing and cute characters that isn't irritating nor boring.

Having parents whom have a degree in Ballroom dancing, I've grown up with music and dancing around me all my life and I really love it when I see my ship dancing. . . . And actually dancing; not the deacon shuffle.
