I think that description of "modern story with old sounds" is extremely accurate, and really beautiful. The form of your song is very much a verse-chorus-verse-chorus, and the lyrics are very modern, but the melody and harmonies and timbres are very bossa nova especially that Edim chord leading back to the Fm9. Very beautiful and very subtle. I just found your music, but I am enjoying it immensely already.

Laufey is of the rare artists whose videos I listen through in their entirety every time I am introduced to a new one. She started showing up in my feed a couple of days ago and although I wasn’t really in the mood for her style of music at that moment, her lovely voice and clever lyrics hooked me. It’s very nice to see her instrumental ability showcased here. I’m a fan.

Not everyone can do this. Your brain has to be wired to handle doing three things at once. Left hand selects the notes. Right hand plays the tune and keeps time. And singing.
