I'm white from Canada and I've never thought Jesus was white cause basically in the parts were Jesus lived and walk people were not white. They were black and can't find the right word for it, I think it's Caucasian (not completely black). It's really the Catholic Church that made him white with the statues and drawings.

Jesus looked like the people he was around. Probably olive tone skin and brown eyes. He didn't want to stand out because of he's appearance.He wanted his message to be the focus of his presences.

It may not matter what race Jesus was. But why did it matter to those that showed him with a different color? Color has been a point of controversy from time millennial. If you ask me, Jesus being black adds all different meanings to racial history and reduces prejudice. If it matters who your parents were despite having to grow up with different ones, then it would matter knowing who really our spiritual father was.

Does it matter what color Jesus was. I will say no, it does not matter. As long as we keep Jesus Christ of Nazareth alive in our hearts, share his love and methi and practice his teachings, everything else is moot. Amongst the masses who have had near death experience and were lucky enough to see Jesus, he often appears different to different people. Some people may see Jesus as being Asian, some see Jesus as white, some see Jesus as looking like someone from the middle east and others have seen him as being black. Personally I think all of the hype of
, is Jesus really black or white, when in reality it is irrelevant to our love for and belief in him and what he sacrificed for us. For anyone reading this, this is just my opinion. It doesn't matter to me what color Jesus really was, because no matter the color, he is just Jesus Christ of Nazareth to me and he has made everything good in my life happen. So in truth, whatever color Jesus is, it is a totally moot issue. Others may or may not feel the same as me. Things to consider, the color does not make the man. A man's actions and contributions to society are what makes the man, definitely not color. For the sake of those who are professors or biblical theologians or historiay, my lord's color might have some thechnical bearings. Unfortunately for the masses, it doesn't matter to most of us.
