How To Quickly: Get Windows XP 3D Pinball In Windows 10

Microsoft removed 3D Space Cadet Pinball when Windows Vista came out, so, how do you get it back again in Windows 10? Well watch this video or do the following:

2. Run the .exe file and click "Install"
3. Pinball is now installed on your computer, launch it from the start menu or desktop.

Works perfectly on windows 10! dubious about downloading from unknown website but so far so good! obviously dont expect amazing graphics as this was made lastly for windows xp. love love love this game!

fun fact, if you have an existing windows xp machine, you can copy the folder where pinball is installed, move it to your program files folder, and run the pinball executable. it just natively works on windows 10. Well, it doesnt natively work, it uses the built in windows xp compatibility layer, but it runs without having to change settings.

The game was included in these versions of Windows: (correct me if I'm wrong)
Windows 95 (but it was in its sold-separately Plus pack)
(It might have been included in) Windows NT 4
Windows 98 (both first and second editions)
Windows ME
Windows 2000
Windows XP

but most people, including me, remember it from XP.

Another way to get to the old Windows 2000 "Users and Passwords" panel (besides running "netplwiz" like shown in this video) is to just use the Windows "Run" prompt to run "control userpasswords2".

Just make a Windows XP VM then go to "C:\Program Files\Windows NT" then copy the "Pinball" folder somewhere on your main PC then make a shortcut on the desktop and in the start menu folder.

Also, by the way, the XP pinball game was actually just a demo for Maxis' game "Full Tilt Pinball".

alternatively you can use virtual machine and the files of pinball 3d to a CD (or a Giga DVD if this was LazyTown) and then exit out of your VMware and play the pinball 3d from the CD.
