I don't know how you don't have more views. You actually have a format and your videos progress without digressing into pointless banter. Other tutorial videos on youtube have a guy who starts at a space station and talks on and on about nothing and if you listen closely, for 4 seconds of his video you actually might catch a learning tidbit that his 22 minute video was supposed to show. Sigh I'm glad I found your videos.

I just started watching you. I saw your thrusters video and your tip about not using fighter tactics was SO HELPFUL I've been trying to do that and seeing the difference between using and not using thrusters really helped my confidence in combat. Now for the practice...

How do you evade, reacquire, and engage? I slip up and end up circling around and taking fire.

Underrated tip I saw is having the kill warrant on your guns. I'm on vr and have to use voice to change fire groups and this has caused me to just stop using kill warrant. I'm gonna try this.

So far I've hated combat in this game. missions that don't explain a damn thing, apparently no enemies anywhere when bounty hunting, and my favorite is when I finally do find an enemy they just roast me. however your video is very helpful

MY GOD am I frustrated right now I decided to do the training and I can't even get past the advanced scenario

I try some of the tricks in advanced combat using the lats and ive also found in flight assist off yaw, pitch and lats are better than rolling you lose control fast when you over roll but it still ends up in a jousting match eventually the alt indicator does my head in and engine trails are not always easy to follow.


I also learned that ship difficulty is not just a case of combat rank two weapons you have to watch out for rails and missiles...they change EVERYTHING.

2:14 I don't get it. You're fighting against a "Deadly" and you just manage to outmaneuver him from a head to head position to where you're on his tail.

I'm trying to do the same against a mere "Competent" in the training challenge, and they always end up facing me again. I use pips, I use thrusters.
