Sea kayak touring in Kefalonia-Greece

12 days kayaking solo around the Greek island of Kefalonia. This was one of my most memorable kayak trips. Approximately 120 nautical miles. Weapon of choice was the trusted Scuper Pro loaded like a donkey with supplies for 2 weeks. I recorded some music for this one, to avoid commercial interruptions. Enjoy!

I wondered if you'd be able to recommend some of your favourite spots from your journey? I'm paddling on the island for 5 days in august with my girlfriend. We are looking for cool geology and secluded beaches! any advice would be much appreciated :)

You commented on my Big Agnes Seedhouse SL2 video & YouTube won't let my reply to you, so I'm commenting on one of your videos. Odds are, Big Agnes would replace you tent. True it's not the lightest anymore, but it would always be an option you'd have at your disposal. I'm not certain, but I believe the newer versions might be heavier than the decade old ones as there are more features and storage options available in the tent. They make several lighter models, so I don't think they put the emphasis on weight for the Seedhouse they had back then. I know been eyeing a Big Agnes Tiger Wall for a lighter option, but just haven't been able to justify it.

I have an RTM Tempo - essentially the same boat as your Scupper Pro. If you ever feel the need to explore the west coast of Scotland (less sunny, but more dramatic... think 300 meter cliffs and some big mountains) you're welcome to borrow my boat.

I plan to drive to Greece with my boat next year and paddle the south coast of Crete. Maybe Kefalonia instead now after seeing this video :-)
