I'm just now finishing up my Nv7 build. Took FOREVER to get all the fans I needed, but it looks absolutely beautiful. I would love to have those defused strips for the case edges on the Nv7, so yes, do it!

NV5 is exactly what I was looking for, I thought the NV7 looked fantastic but it was too big for my next build.

NV5 seems promising, although rigid tubing run between a top and side radiator looks like it would be difficult.

I can't wait for the NV9KS: big enough to be able to live in.
I really do like the NC5, though! It looks really clean while still having the unique features of this series rather than being like the very many O11 clones. (A certain "Qube" comes to mind...). It's also looking like they're punching on the same lines as Lian Li with the mechanical complexity as well.

When I was in the market for a case I was between the NV7 and the HYTE Y40, I went with the Y40 because the NV7 was more expensive and quite bigger, if the NV5 was available by then, I would probably bought this instead of the Y40.

NV5 is a whole different (inferior) case. doesn't look there's vertical gpu support at all, the clean aesthetic and motherboard edge lighting and cable covers are gone... I just don't see it's appeal over existing cases that can mount more fans/rads in the segment. those LED kit accessory should just come with the case. also, there is some kind of cover similar to what comes in the NV7 that you completely didn't mention. I feel it should've kept the psu top mounted (obviously just horizontal) and retained the same styling as te NV7. NV9 is basically what the NV7 should've been.

100% going with the NV9. Really want to have a roomy case for an EATX mobo and the option to move to a custom loop down the road. The various GPU mounting options also seem pretty neat.

As someone that finished a build in the NV7 less than a month ago, I would have loved to know they were going to announce a case that is better at everything so soon.
Guess I should have seen that coming in the computer industry. I'd take NV7 sized LED edge strips as a consolation prize.
