there are some online examples that confuse me. Perhaps you could clear it up for me, what if the dependency went A --> B, A ---> C, B ---> A, B-->C, C--A, and C --B. Would the FD be transitive still? From what you're saying I'd assume the answer would be no because this FD that I've written would mean that B and C are also candidate key values .
