When designing with voltage supervisors, it is important to understand the
key specifications to correctly implement a voltage supervisor into a system.
For example, a designer needs to understand the voltage threshold and how to
calculate it. A designer also needs to understand the difference between
adjustable and fixed voltage threshold devices and their pros and cons.
Inherent tolerance on the device as well as external resistors also need to
be understood and accounted for.

Input specifications, such as Hysteresis and Manual Reset, are also covered
in this video to help a user understand the benefits of a voltage supervisor
over a discrete implementation with a RC network. As mentioned in previous
videos, voltage supervisors are the same device as voltage monitors, voltage
detectors, and reset ICs.
