Hi, thank you for your video, we are going to Peru in three weeks time for two weeks. We already have our itinerary organized. I’m a big fan of crochet and would love to buy some alpaca yarn. Did you see any places where they sold just yarn? Much appreciated 🧶😍

Any altitude sickness? Thinking of spending a few days somewhere lower elevation before going to Cusco... And best time of year to go?

Great video and tips, certainly very helpful. I'll be visiting Peru in mid July. Got a question about the currency. If you've to visit Peru again, how will you manage the local currency? Here in the States, I bank with Chase. I'll certainly check with them as you've suggested here. I believe certain high-end hotels offer currency exchange as well and so does the airports (although I'll be reaching Lima late at night). Have you considered using something like Wise debit card? You can deposit $ to your Wise account and then use the debit card to get cash in local currency in Peru. I believe most places like tour companies, restaurants, gift shops, hotels accept US cc. But still better to carry some local currency. Will appreciate your suggestions....

Hi… thx so much for this video. I’m going with 4 kids (ages 18-24) Aug 1-15th. We were going to spend first half Cuzco, second half Lima. We were going to do the 3-4 day macchu picchu Inca trail hike. However, the subtle complaining has begun. I don’t want to spend that money if I’m going to hear complaining
along the way. The day hikes you showed may be a great alternative. If you were going to go with 4 (18-24 yr olds, ) which day hikes would you recommend, and how much altitude acclimation time would you recommend?

Thanks again for a good Peru vid.

Do you have any videos on phrases to learn before travelling to that area or any recommendations? Is a general spanish phrase book good enough?

Hello… We will be visiting in March and we are terrified of altitude sickness. How was your experience?

Great video and so so helpful! I'm thinking of traveling to Cusco and wondering if I should stay there the whole time or travel around the country instead. I plan to be there around a month. Is there a time span you would recommend for Cusco?

How did you feel safety wise there during this time?

My flight to Lima is September 20 @10pm. Do you know any buses leaving Lima to Cusco at night? I hope to sleep in the bus and be energetic when I arrive in Cusco.
I'm having trouble buying machu pitchu ticket from the Peru official website, tickets are sold for 3 days. Could it be that the local tour operators bought all the tickets for sale with commission? If so, have you seen travel agency selling machu pitchu ticket?
Is it easy to buy bug spray from the local pharmacy or supplement? I'm flying budget airlines so cannot bring more than carry-on which already costing extras
The website indicates routes/ circuit for tickets, which circuit is the easiest since I have old knee injuries. Any tips will be great, thanks

Is bringing/exchanging cash necessary? Or should I just pay with visa ?

Was there any civil unrest while you were in Peru?

Pastries in Peru are not fresh, they can be a few days old. I spent 2 months in Peru and visited many cities. I always ask for fresh pasties and coffee for breakfast. It is a rare find for fresh pastries that same day.
