Lidstrom HAS to be the captain. The guy is a legend, one of the greatest d-man in hockey history and simply a great leader. His presence = respect. Perfect guy to guide the young guns.

Keith should be the Alternate, just because of the GM mode.
He proved that he is a real leader. 'Nuff said.

The other A should go to...Connor McDavid! That's right boys! The kid is a beast and would lead by example. Plus a first line center, a little boost in his stats wouldn't be bad.

I think that you should have Captain Yandle because it just makes sense. You were giving that card for that reason. Next the two A's should be Kessel because hes your guy on your favorite team, and Lindstrom for being one of your first legends

On defense, switch Girardi with Matt Greene on 2nd and 3rd pair ( Girardi on 2nd, greene on 3rd ). That's just a disgrace the way it looks imo lolololol. Roman Polak would also be better than Greene

Barkov and McDavid for assistant captains. Barkov because you've been using him for so long, so he has to deserve it and McDavid to boost the stats a bit, plus he can then learn from Yandle on how to become a future superstar captain.

Reasons:
This team is small up front but you have big defenders who like to shoot the puck. I would like to see Kessel blast away one-timers next to Lidstrom or Yandle (I do the same with Bure and Kronwall). The only reason why I had Monahan instead of Gallagher is because Monahan is bigger and he is more versatile. He shoots left on the right side and he can go to the net and redirect picks better than Gally.

You absolutely have to put Lidstrom as captain. He is one of the greatest defencemen of all time.

I think you should have Niklas Lidstrom lead the team as your Captain, with the Alternate Captains being Connor or McDavid and Barkov!

Lidstrom gets the C so he can skate with the faster players, McDavid gets the A because he is your first line center then Yandle gets the other A because he needs to be some form of captain
