Great video and perspective, appreciate it Adrian!

Also, thank you for immediately noting this as a promotion - refreshing in this industry.

Great video as always! But small detail: it's not something that was aesthetically reworked top to bottom; there's an Arabic- number retro version already! They just changed the colors to these warmer tones and worked in the strap from the Bico Sixty-Five as well!

I just got the watch on Friday and after wearing the watch nonstop since then, the inner bronze links started to patina already, so applied and wiped lemon juice concentrate on them, worked like a charm.

I just really like listening to you talk about watches. AFT is cool and I enjoy the banter and the schtick, but your solo youtube videos are some of my favorite in the watch world. I hope to see more coming

Wow, the splashes of copper lean so heavily into that 70's look. That's brilliant!

A stunning example to be sure Adrian. A few years ago, I ran across it's black dial steel-only older brother with those same lovely cream colored arabics and was amazed at the price. Needless to say, I immediately bought it. A stunning piece in any color but this special edition from Collective is on another level. Cheers!

Thats feckin' gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. The Cal. 400 prices me out of this piece but it's totally worth it. Oris are taking leaps and bounds into mid-horology and I for one salute that. Bravo.

Back baby! Great to see you in this space. Watch community talking about watches? Awesome. Sick to death of Rolex prices falling, and grey market dealers telling us to buy before they go up again. Love the retro style of this watch, and the simplicity.

Oh Captain is YouTube has been a vacuum of decent watch content (apart from aet) of course.

It has been done, kinda at least. Check out the 65 x Rake Revolution. It has the beautiful burnt orange dial and it is my daily.

Fair play Adrian. You’ve been at the top for a while on the watch YouTube game. Good to see you back in full flow pal.

This thing is awesome. The Cal. 400 prices me out of this unfortunately. If they gave this the SW-200 in the mid $2k range I would be incredibly tempted to jump on this

@Adrian Barker I am pleased with what Oris have been producing in recent years propelled by their Caliber 400 movement which the current models have the improved caliber of the 5 day/120 hours power reserve. Having the ProPilot X in grey is quite stealthy and well designed as well as built. It is good to see an affordable independent Swiss brand make strides and the 10 year warranty and service interval recommendation is a testimony of how they are standing behind their watches. I hope they continue on the current path in 2024.

You know what this is like? If you squeezed the colour palette and general theme of "Licorice Pizza" and put it into a watch. Great job from Collective.

I must say this is a very lovable watch, thanks for reporting on something so unique and original. I did not know about Collective either. Would be great to have some reports on the Grand Seikos which have those amazing dials and hand-wound movements.

Looks awesome!
I can hear the usual grumblings now...." 3 and a half grand for an Oris, I can get a Tudor...."
One of the last great independents, a true in house, great heritage without piggy backing on big bro....
