I took different melodies/samples from various Julie Andrews films and stitched them together to create a new song. I wasn’t focusing on creating words, rather I wanted to create new melodies.

Somebody should try charting this track for a game called "sequence storm". It's a hevally edm driven rhythm game that I like to play and this could be nice as a custum track I might actually try to chart it myself and see how it goes..

Thanks, I was making a video with all Julie's performances 😑 'what are you doing the rest of your life' as background music, now my 1 month editing went down the drain 😭 anyway I'll upload it anyway, just to let you know I didn't copy the idea 😮. This was lovely, didn't like the music though, sorry, that seemed like a robot 😮

While it's so nice to see admirers of Julie's cinematic legacy, this whole experience leaves me put off. The "song", such as it is, feels completely robotic and mechanical for me personally, even though it was harvested and gleaned from musical moments of lovely movies. I suspect I'll be in the minority on this opinion, but there it is.

At first it sounded like she was singing something like "Wee mousey overcoming me". I really don't even know if there are words to this project. But it's just too peculiar in general. There have been other homemade YT "songs" assembled and woven from movie scenes (with a techno or lo-fi flavor); there's a really trippy Wizard of Oz one I saw once. I got the same vibe from that as I have from this: not quite cringe worthy but very close.
