The apartment had one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and a balcony. It also came with lots of appliances including a washing machine, TV with Netflix connected, two air conditioner units, iron and ironing board, a dishwasher, electric oven, electric stove, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, small blender, water kettle, pots and pans, and utensils.

Saranda is located in southern Albania along the coast of the Ionian Sea, which is part of the Mediterranean Sea. Just south of Saranda is the Greek island of Corfu, Ksamil Beach, and Butrint National Park.

Saranda is a popular destination in the summer, but since we were living there in the low season (October-March), prices for apartments were much lower. You can see how much we paid for this apartment + utilities in the video.

We were in Saranda about a month ago on a very port-intensive cruise along the Dalmatian Coast. It was early November, so it was quiet. The people were very warm and also handsome. We came across a street market that had an abundance of beans, veggies, spices (mostly oregano), olives, nuts, and seeds. We're plant based, so we were delighted. At that moment, I wish I had a kitchen to cook in.

Saranda is perfect. You have corfu right in front for daytrips. Then butrint most important ancient archeological site 10 km away. Then blue eye natural phenomenon 15 km away. And the albanian Riviera with some of the most beautiful beaches. Also gjirokaster is a daytrip worth with Unique albanian architecture.

The apartment looks great! Did you have to commit for more than a month at that price? Also are there a lot of places to walk in Saranda.? Looks smaller than Vlora in a lot of videos I’ve seen.

Really enjoyed the video! I'd like to get info on the realtor because I might be moving there. My husband is from there and I've been trying to immigrate him over here with me to the US and it's been a nightmare dealing with immigration. So I'm considering moving there instead. Saranda is lovely! Been there twice already and love it!

I rented an airbnb in Saranda before, for about a week while I could look around for a long term apartment. I ended up liking my airbnb place and it was rented by a very kind family who agreed to rent it to me even through the May to September months for a very good price. Everything was great in there. Balcony. Nice view. But I had to leave the city because I made the mistake to look at another apartment the first day that was shown by some people who sort of 'target' people new to the city. They got mad and started pressuring me when I said I don't want the place they showed me. So Saranda was ruined for me. Hope other people don't get the same experience as me. There are people in that city you need to beware of and stay away from and preferably dont let them see you are alone like me then it's easier for them to target and pressure you. These people were very rude when I told them I dont want what they showed me. Somehow they think looking at something means you are obligated to sign a contract. So no Saranda. Any other people going there be very careful what people you interact with.
