Has changed the way I look at music, once again. Violet Seizures is something entirely other worldly. Dunno how they do it, but they do. It's something sat somewhere in between Meshuggah and Black Sabbath. I am in awe. Words cannot describe. Criminally underrated. The time sigs fuck with me on repeated listens. Pristine shit. My jaw needs to be set back in place from its dropped position.

My friend and I just saw these guys with Pyrrhon and Anti-Sapien. Both Inter Arma and Pyrrhon played their latest albums in their entirety, and ho-ly-shit, it was brutality at its finest!! Heavy as a really heavy thing!!

I think its a mistake to compare this with any of their other stuff. Truthfully, its not better or worse. Its just different. And it works. Thats a rare quality in today's 'cookie cutter, paint by numbers' culture. Its an onion with many intriguing layers, well worth the effort of exploration.
