My husband passed a few months ago, but he had Glory days, when Jimmie asked him on stage to sing a few songs, at a couple festivals in MN, in the summer.I was so proud of him, he was supposed to go to Nashville when he was real young, but never got there. Thanks Jimmie ❤

I think of Jimmie from time to time. I use to open up for him back in the day when I was a member of Satisfaction. Jimmy treated me like a real friend and I got a few funny stories from touring with him. I've shed a few tears over the last few years watching these awesome videos. His legacy is strong. Very Good song by Jimmy Van Zant. Has the Sound of Van Zant Bros Songs. Could have been on their CD's and would have thought it was Johnny. The way he sings is similar to Johnny. I bought Jimmy's First CD and You can see how much he has grown musically with this Song. I heard Jimmy passed away about a year or so ago wish He was still around to tour on farewell tour of Lynynrd Skynyrd with 38 Special. RIP Jimmy !

Yes he is a VanZant. I personally met him & Zee in Chicago with my mom. He was 2 rooms from us. I played cards with him. Talked for hours.Got aurograph before this song even cane out. He most def. Is a VanZant. Bless you Jimmy & zee. And btw who wld care the song is awesome. An I luv lynard synard. Just listen to this voice. He's def. A VanZant sounds just like them.
