Too bad not one video on YouTube shows what the real conga is. It’s all a lot of modern movement with Gloria Estefan‘s song and that’s fine but it’s not the real conga. None of these I’ve seen represent the real conga. I’m an old woman today, fat and out of shape, but I was raised in dancing school, and used to be able to dance every form of dance!! And I’m shocked that it’s all stepping around & wiggling cotillion type moves or very athletic like this but again, I have not yet seen an authentic actual conga dance on line yet. One that is a standard conga anywhere on the YouTube. Would love to see.
