Jamaican Beef Patty Juici VS Tastee

Which patty reigns supreme in Jamaica? I think its best Jamaica answers that question. With over 300,000 patties made each day, the patty is by far Jamaica's most popular convenient food.

The meat in the tastee patties has a better taste to me. Also tastee Pattie’s always seem to be JUST out of the oven.

Tastee patties all day, everyday. Juici was once the go to when my family touched down in JA. Until I had Tastee, the flavor blew me away. Juici may have more meat but, Tastee has better flavor, open it you will see the scallions (green onions). Tastee's 🙌🏿 hands down.

I grew up on Juici Patties because that was the only franchise in town. I was introduced to Tastee's in the city...I don't eat beef so I stick with the chicken patty (used to get soy until the price was the same for chicken). I prefer Tastee's chicken patty and their coco bread however, I prefer Juici for porridge and brown stew chicken breakfast. BTW, Tastee's is also in Barbados. Juici is here in Canada in Montréal - it's a good drive to get there. Patties are sold in the Wal-Marts here however, I've been told that they are not great (not sure which if it's actual patties from Jamaica or made by a company here). Wal-Mart only sells beef patties so I won't purchase them. I can't wait to visit home again and eat patties and coco bread!

I just came back from Jamaica and I tried both Juicy and Tastee beef patties....I prefer Juicy ...to me it´s better tasting and the crust is good...tastee is good too and for many years they where king but now juicy take over big time

What I’ve found is Juici patties are thicker and have more meat inside. Tastee is more flaky.

Always love Tastee patty as a child, I cannot eat one. I have to eat about 3 Tastee patties, one after the other.

I remember mother's patties when I was a kid, don't know if they still around 🤔
But tastee is my favourite when I visit home. I also remember they use to sell meat loaf... don't know if they still do

Tastee I'm a Kingstonian, I tell my friends we we don't keep patties in warmers at Tastee in Kingston because they sell so fast.
You can't eat a Tastee patty without getting crumbs all over your personal space.

I use to love tastee patties, but now whenever I eat it I get heartburn, it's like tastee using either re: purposed oil or too much powdered seasoning, juicy beef and mother's patties are more superior. Also tastee is mean with their patty filling, you get more crust than filling.
