Putting all 92 Football League Teams into ONE LEAGUE

What would happen if you did away with "Leagues" and just put all 92 football league teams into one big division and told them to play each other once in a 91 game season?

That's right. The Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two teams are all in one place vying for the same title. No promotion and relegation, not playoffs (which I imagine some FM creators would prefer) and no cups (except for European competitions).

Some things stay the same while there's still a number of wacky quirks to discuss. There are a few risers and fallers, shock results and a chance to mud Tottenham. But who was doing the mudding?

Let's find out shall we?

Forest Green effectively mid-table L1 when they were bottom, relegated IRL
Also Stockport County, mid-table L1 when IRL L2 - made playoffs.
Both significant outliers by about 10-15 positions.
EDIT aksi Carlisle 84th so lower mid-table L2, IRL promoted via playoffs.
Generally, a lot more difference the further you go down the league structure.

Really great channel this, deserves a lot more traffic. Would you consider making some vids on using the pre-game editor to make these kind of scenarios? I know there are other vids out there, but you have a good pace of explaining things, that isn't too quick. Or maybe even at end of each vid, an end section showing how you did it?

Man, at least you have a local club and another (professional) club to support. My local club (which turned professional in 2019) disbanded in 2022 (failed financially), and I'm wandering around England and Scotland (my favourite leagues) to find a suitable club for me, which I've still flunked to do.
