It’s also the fact that MHA has tech geniuses like La Brava who could probably just pinpoint the single and shut it down remotely so they don’t even need to fight it directly. Glad to finally see an MHA fight where they don’t get dogged immedietally

I feel like the reason why the Omnidroid would not win is not because of strength and powers. It has a lot of strength and has some power too. Not only that, but previously version of the Omnidroid has taken out other supers that have insane abilities (one was just homelander, one had telekinesis and another one had the ability to change his molecular density with superhuman strength and durability!). The supers the Omnidroid has killed are as powerful as the MHA superheroes.
However, the one true reason why it would loss is that the Omnidroid was designed to go up against the Incredibles supers individually. One thing to take in mind is that most of the supers were able to take down a version of the Omnidroid before Syndrome made a new version of the Onnidroid that took advantage of their weakness or was designed to counter the super's powers.
To summarize everything, if the Omnidroid was sent out to fight MHA, it would get destroyed. But, Syndrome would look at what and how it was defeated and make a new Omnidroid with a better chance to counter everyone that showed up in the fight.

I am reminded of how the Omni Droid got to its prime by essentially getting fed alone heroes who didn’t know what was coming besides a vague debrief. Even in its own universe it had to thin out so much of the herd (and be taken out quite a bit) with its abilities before eventually being able to match the heavy hitters.

The only contribution I have to this discussion is that the Omnidroid as we know it could not get far in MHA, but in the hypothetical where Syndrome *built* the Omnidroid in the MHA universe in the same way he did in his own, accounting for the various heroes in each iteration, I think the discussion shifts to 'Could Syndrome create an Omnidroid that is as threatening to MHA as his was to The Incredibles?'

As far as villains go, Syndrome would actually be a pretty fitting one for My Hero Academia.
