House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the House resolution condemning President Trump's tweets about four progressive congresswomen was "as gentle as it could be considering the inappropriateness and the disgusting nature of what the president said." Pelosi spoke at her weekly press conference on Capitol Hill on Wednesday.

What ever happened to the pledge of allegiance in schools, oh that's right, we had to stop that because we might offend these other people. I thought we're Americans, all of us, so why are we so scared of offending these other people with their own religions. Why are they making all these changes like posting things in school about 'In God we trust' out of our schools? If you're a true American citizen, that's our culture, and if you don't like it, as Trump said, then leave. Don't be changing our country to yours because you'll be offended. That's ridiculous. Schools should bring back those things. There's so many issues with this country, and we need to bring those things back into our schools. It's definitely not going to hurt, it can only bring positive things to this country. How many school shootings do we have per year? How many shootings in the country? Too many, that's how much.
