Scout is a case of high skill floor and infinite skill ceiling. Most pub scouts aren't a threat at all, but a good scout is terrifying. It's by far the best DM class in the game.

Cue me happily battle-engineering when unexpectedly running into a veteran scout with 120k kills on his scattergun and 12 years of muscle memory, deleting my mini with aimbot-like pistol aim just to two-shot my ass with two perfect scattergun meatshots afterwards. All this in just under 3 seconds and he took no damage at all. w h a t

Me, a Beginner Scout main:
The default gun fires alot of bullets yet does less than 10 damage, the bonk soda can help me but as long as there's no pyros that litterally know wherever you are or wherever you go...

My Scout Main is called the troll, dressed like a try hard with his Goggles, Bahnk! and that little cross thing. I only use my Strange Mackerel with Baby Face to get speed, challenge anyone to a melee fight and if I win, I laugh at them and promptly die.
