Review and mic test of the Ugreen HiTune X5 wireless earbuds. At times, I compare these with the £250 Sennheiser True Wireless Momentum 2 earbuds. Sounds unfair, right? Maybe not!

I've never used a set of budget earbuds before so I was really interested to give these a try and see what sort of performance you can get for the £40 to £50 price point. While they don't have advanced features such as active noise cancellation (ANC) and any kind of transparency mode, they excel in almost every other way. I am blown away at how good these little devices are.

Thank you for helplng me getting these with your nice review.. Pease let me add a couple of thougths.
Pros:Amazing sound, much much better than a set of twice the price with dynamic and balanced driver that I bought together and that has had very favourable reviews
Great range, double than other buds. Great sound-stage and instrument separation, smooth textures, very rich presentation along the spectrum, rich and controlled bass, incfedible highs, it's the only iem that I can hear clearly my beloved cymbals, bells and tambourines.
Cons: A nightmare to achieve a good seal, impossible with the included eartips that are too small for me. This due to the unacceptably short nozzles they don't let the buds to be inserted well into the ear. luckily I found some tips from an old iem that do the job.
Very comfortable if you're not a side sleeper.
Battery ok, nothing to write home About.
Conclusion: An unbelievable bargain if you solve the fitting issue if quality of sound is your top priority, regardless of price.
