Dr. Eduardo Lovo, MD, is a Surgical Neuro-Oncologist, well-known for his extensive experience in the management and treatment of brain tumors and other complex neurological disorders.
Currently, he is the Director of the Gamma Ray Center at Centro Internacional de Cáncer in San Salvador, El Salvador. Dr. Lovo is also the Director of the Center for Robotic Radiosurgery (CyberKnife) in San Jose, Costa Rica.
He initiated the Intracranial and Spinal Radiosurgery Program using TomoTherapy Hi-Art® and was the pioneer of the first High-Precision Brain Radiosurgery Unit with Infini™. Dr. Lovo was trained in Gamma Knife 4c radiosurgery and is certified in the use of Gamma Knife Perfexion.
