I drank alcohol heavily for 30 years, and am not very religious. I grew up Roman Catholic. I went into a church about 5 years ago and prayed to God with all the conviction I had, tears were streaming years later, I could not careless for alcohol. To is a miracle!

My mother had cancer when I was a child and became angry that she was experiencing such, fearing the possibility her little children might grow up without a mother. But she prayed to God to heal her. She said she felt something like a warm hand on her forehead and heard a voice speak her name, telling her she was going to be okay. When she went in for surgery to remove the tumor it was gone! I believe she experienced a miracle. But I contemplate why some don’t receive the miracle they prayed for. I struggle to understand that, feeling sad for them but I realize we don’t know what’s on the minds or in the heart of others or the amount of faith they have. I’m a Christian and follow Jesus
but regardless of one’s religious beliefs, we as a collective should have love and compassion for one another as a fundamental in humanity. God is love!
