SLETH PLEN is finally in the game!! Who'd have thought... the F-117 in War Thunder. Pigs truly can fly... what are your thoughts on it being added?

I feel like this plane will boil down to this...
Air-AB=dead on sight... Air RB=dead on sight... Ground RB= they don't ever see you at 35, 000 feet dunkin' on half the enemy team... Sim= same, you are invisible and bombing airfields with impunity... It's a SIM grinder for sure... the only way you can find the thing in sim is to see it... and if you are playing a night game, its over for the enemy airfield...

i have a feeling the Nighthawk will shine in Air Simulator Battles, where it can actually use its stealth.

It's just a bomber with no deffensive option, like a bucanneer s1 or camberra

I wonder if having the bomb bays open changes it's detectability. The only F-117 shot down was because the SAM operator turned it on at the exact moment the bomb bays were open.

In about another two decades or more, it'll be paving the way for the stealth fighters we have today, for example, the raptor would be first to get in I think since it's the oldest, but the F 35 could come first too since it's being exported

So for the longest time, I could only name the B-2, but I still knew the nighthk but only as the night hawk. It wasn’t until a year ago that I learned that the invisible flying cheese wedge was called the F-117.

tbh it feels like Gaijin has jumped the shark with this one.
rather annoying that they go this far for content but wont finish the old bomber models. (still don't have cockpits)
oh and i bet there will be constant arguments over the stealth mechanic.

I don’t think that many people understand what stealth means, it’s not undetectable, it has limited detectability.

I think the f-117 is suppos to be use between 15, 000 and 25, 000 (4, 500 to 7, 600) mètres for a good stealth

Hey @WeBeStronk just a little tip for the gps bombs, you dont need to put the retical over the target at all because they will pitch up to hit the target unlike laser guided bombs so they can be dropped a significant amount of distance from the target point and still reach it, hope this helps! 👍👍

The funny thing is that this thing is gonna either encounter things with no radar or very weak radar so this stealth helps out a lot with those since it’s gonna be 10.0
