On Advantage plans. Know your out of pocket maximum.

Also know copays and coinsurance for items such as Part B drugs which is 20% for me - yikes.

Glad I can move out of Advantage to a Supplement.

Prior to 2024, I believe I read that bonuses were not considered earned income according to (I believe) Section C in POMS. However, I’m told the bonuses resulted in an overpayment of over $13, 000. My boss even completed the form that showed the bonuses were absolutely unearned. I was at home doing spreadsheets only and never corresponded with an insurance client! There was no possibility that I could have done anything that would help our agency reach the goals required for the bonuses. I do admit I was at fault for not reporting my wages, but I do have degenerative cognition and significant ADHD and very significant short-term memory issues. Do you believe SSA is right in demanding repayment of an overpayment?
