The scariest thing about 096 is that you dont have to be aware you've seen it for that reaction to happen. There was a story once of a mountaineer who took a photo of the landscape and 096 was in it. He took up 4 pixels in the image and went on a killing spree when he hung the photo in his home

I love how Rubber's narrator character just ignores the threat of 096 by looking at a picture of 096 and literally touching 096 to show us his arm length and malnutrition.
