This video presents the alphabet in song and sounds with tracing of letters in preparation for writing. Help to anyone beginning to read and write English--especially toddlers. Based on Montessori method, presenting the most-used sounds and the motion needed to write the most-used letters--lower case.

This video, is part of 'Sing and Trace ABC' - an interactive, multi-touch eBook, designed especially for the iPad, that musically introduces the sounds and shapes of the letters of the alphabet.

Sing and Trace ABC was created by Raleigh Green, a musician, artist, teacher, and author, and his mother, Linda Green, a former Montessori teacher. When Linda's grandson was born, she began her search for the perfect ABC book. Not finding what she wanted, she made her own book using Montessori principals, vivid drawings, and traceable letters—much to her grandson's delight.
