Why Is EVERYTHING Made Of WORDS!? 🔤 | Rain World Downpour

When I installed it, I thought it would make the game impossible to play, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually not that unreadable!
Some enemies become harder to deal with, while others feel easier somehow! :P

Mod is "Word World" by "Alduris"!

Region mod is "Purification Conduits" by "Mojosoup"!

The thumbnail image uses art from the game, this time I didn't use any art from any mod! :P
I do NOT own ANY of the art used in the thumbnail!

If you were wondering, yes, custom creatures do have partial support. If they're based on existing creatures in the code, they receive the same treatment of their ancestor (for example, fat fireflies are based on vultures in the code so how they show up is similar to other vultures). For completely custom creatures (like the hoverfly and water blob), it tries to display their name at their body, but sometimes the bodies are made of multiple parts so it just picks one.

As for void worms, I wasn't quite sure how to treat the big one considering how large it is, and if I wasn't going to do that one, then I wasn't going to do the rest for consistency. I'm planning to add more things though! Particularly on my list are the aforementioned void worms, worm grass, the cosmetic background insects, and a better indicator for where a lizard's head is (I have an idea for how to tackle that one).

Two last things: "TentaclePlant" is the code name for monster kelp, so yes they are the same thing if you were wondering why they appear that way (most creatures do the same). Also, you said echoes were a bit simplistic, I encourage you to look back at the clip and see if you notice anything else different ;)
