Athens | Αnafiotika - Εpisode 1

EPISODE 1 -In the very shadow of the Acropolis, on the northern slope, there stands an unspoiled district of small houses dating back to the 19th century -- an Athenian favela, if you will. This is Anafiotika, built by stonemasons from the island of Anafi who were recruited to put up the first buildings of modern Athens. This is where they lived, and time has not been allowed to modernize it.
