It was my dream to join the army and my dream unit had always been the 17 Poona Horse. Unfortunately I couldn't make it to the Indian Armed Forces. Such a glorious regiment of the Armoured Corps. I was motivated by the stories of Lt Col AB Tarapore, Lt Gen Hanut Singh Rathore and 2nd Lt Arun Khetrapal. I still remember the episodes of the serial Paramvir Chakra by Chetan Anand dedicated to Col Tarapore and 2nd Lt Khetrapal.

Thank you sir for giving us this josh talk. If my memory serves me right from the book Param Veer Chakra written by soldier Ian Cardoso your brother chose 17 Poona Horse. Thank you for inspiring us to do whatever it takes to do in & with our lives. Thank your brother Mr. Arun Kheterpal for being for us so that we can have our freedom in our life everyday.

JAI HIND 🇮🇳

Post script : Checked just now 14th October was your brother Arun Kheterpal's birthday. That day is the mark of a matchless brave warriors birth who single-handedly shot 10 enemy tanks without abandoning his faulty tank. His birthday is a cause of celebration for all of us Indians & I have a suspicion that only the one who recognises his bravery is sending that bouquet to celebrate his birthday as a mark of the birth of a matchless courageous warrior. The brave never die sir & their birth is the cause of celebration. The bouquet dosent carry the name because the sender does not want to identify himself. I suspect that the bouquet is the recognition of the celebration & blessing your family has as Arun Kheterpal's birthday whom the sender admires & is coming from Pakistan. Your father must have guessed who the sender of that bouquet might be but would have choosen to keep his suspicion to himself to keep your mother's peace. He could understand the respect his son gained from his enemy. In his zeal to show his mark of respect the sender has lost the fact that how a mother will take it to receive a bouquet every year for her brave martyred son's birthday from enemy - this is the reason why I said Pakistani army staff cannot be recognised as soldiers & gentlemen. It is one thing to get the respect of one's comrades but to get the respect & admiration of an arch enemy shows the standard of your brother's bravery. I have seen the photo of that 13 Lancers Pakistani 'person' ( yes sir I will never accept any of the Pakistan army staff as soldiers ) who was in direct combat with your brother. If my perception is right from this bouquet arriving every birthday of your brother on 14 th October then he is also an adamant person. Just wondering who is giving off your residence address though & IS OUR INDIAN CENTRAL GOVERNMENT AWARE OF THIS BOUQUET FIASCO? I think if my perception is right sbout the Pakistani person's nature then bouquet will surely arrive this year also.
