My uncle inhaled an unpopped corn kernel as a child. He was sick on and off for almost a year then one day he coughed it up. He is now 96.

Ngl, when the surgeon asked for the dirt, i was hoping that would mean they'd plant it and hand it to him. I had a whole story in my head of this guy raising his lung pea and being proud and happy with it.

That's so insane! I'm so glad that the doctor didn't even give up on trying to find what was causing this situation after two tests that came back normal and wasn't happy with it. That doctor was a boss!

I hear this man loud and clear regarding the hell of low low blood pressure. My former boss where I worked would never believe me regarding if I felt bad or sick ( I wasn't on her buddies list ) . Well this one day I could barely stand for even a minute without having to sit and put my head between my legs. I told her, she didn't believe me or didn't care, I went to the emergency department and told them how I felt. The nurse there wanted to take my blood pressure standing up - I nearly fell on her. My blood pressure was 62/38 - to say I felt awful is a huge understatement. That was the lowest BP I managed to have recorded on me.

It is my opinion that the doctor's are more concerned with having the patients just keep coming in so they can bill the insurance, instead of just removing the mass!

I've actually almost choked several times while eating corn. I've had those coughing fits until I finally coughed up the kernel one time!!! I don't eat corn very often anymore.
