How to grow Bougainvillea from cutting fast? Here in this video, I have shared a very unusual method of propagating Bougainvillea plant. I came to know about this method from a Nursery owner and interestingly, this really works quite fast. For much better result, please follow the steps as mentioned in the video.

I love Bougainvillea plants a lot mainly because they are quite low maintenance plant and bloom throughout the whole year on and off. Very soon, I would share more methods of growing Bougainvillea plants from cuttings. You can try any method you like and grow as many plants as you like.

I hope you would find the video useful. Thank you very much for watching, TC and Have a great time ahead!

I tried this method and it worked!!! Humidity in my area is very low so i put a plastic bag over them and that helped a lot. I used aloe vera as rooting hormone. Thank you very much for your video. Now i am going to try your croton method 😊

Hi...love your videos. Can you provide an alternative to construction sand? I don't have access to that.

Can i plant in normal potting soil or perlite or peat moss? Thanks so much.

Please let us know how you plant the cuttings after they've developed. Does it damage the roots to be removed from the soil? Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Wow strange way. Two years back I made several cuttings of bougainvilleas. All successful, normal way. No hammers used. I think Bougainvillea are very easy to root in my experience. Thicker the stem, more chances of rooting the cuttings. That's new what you showed.

I'm started collecting chopped bougenvellia stems after seeing this.
Anyway after how much old chopped stem can use?

Hi! Do you know if bougainvillea can also root from a soft green stem? Or does it have to be a wooden one like the ones you used? Thanks :-)
