Resoring A 30 Years Old Yamaha FS1 Back To Original

In this video we show you the restoration of our 30 years old barnfind Yamaha FS1 moped! We found this Yamaha in an old garage, sitting in a dusty corner for over 15 years. The main goal of the project was to keep the Yamaha as original as possible.

We cleaned all the engine parts, put new oil in it and rewired the electrical circuit. All the chrome parts are polished as good as possible and after that a anti rust oil is put on the chrome parts to keep them beatifull. Almost all the rubbers where hard because of the age, so all of them are replaced. The brakes are checked, the holes in the original buddyseat are covered up with new leather and we placed some new handlebars.

After a lot of work this Yamaha FS1 turned back into a original, perfect driving and shifting moped which still has the looks and charmes of a 30 years old beauty!

Nou, nou, nou meneertje Zandstra, da hedde goe gedaan jonguh. Je goat um toch nie opvoeruh hè, jongeman😂één van mijn lievelingsbrommers in de 80's, samen net als de RD's, SS'ers en KS50'ers. Allen een genot om aan te werken.
Ik hoop dat je de 'ziekte' te pakken hebt, nix mooier dan oud spul zgan te maken! Mijn 2000 Transalp is beter dan nieuw, nix mis met upgrades.maar hou t origineel! Met een Wout op elke straathoek en de verzekering😅Deze aandoening is life changing, geniet ervan! Bedankt voor de nostalgische gevoelens😮‍💨
